Stories A Poetry
Alec’s performance work is unique, both in age range and content. He can entertain audiences of children from 3 to 13 (and older, if asked!), and his high-energy sessions in nurseries, schools and libraries can include traditional stories, from memory; picture books, for young and old; poetry, for all ages; and dramatic extracts from contemporary fiction, switching children on to the pleasure of stories and reading. Visits can be tailored to exactly match each audience – with plenty of material left for another visit in future!

Early Years
Simple stories with actions, picture books, and rhymes, for children in day nurseries, nursery classes, children’s centres or playgroups. Parents can sit in too, to learn tips!
Primary and Middle Schools
Stories for the whole age range, poetry sessions, or “tasters” of modern fiction
Secondary and High Schools
For the first 2-3 year groups – or to support drama or public speaking in older students

Alec works worldwide, supporting English teaching, by invitation or through the British Council.
